Alex and his parents’ words come after news outlets announced that the Los Osos High School dancer was found dead by suicide at 11:52 p.m. on Friday, September 13 (2024). Her cause of death was confirmed by the San Bernardino Coroner’s Office.
According to California Highway Patrol Public Information Officer Rodrigo Jimenez, officials from the Rancho Cucamonga California Highway Patrol had responded to reports of “a pedestrian down in lanes.”
“When the officers arrived, they located a female, 17 years old, who was struck by at least one other vehicle in the carpool lane on eastbound 210. The female did succumb to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene,” reported Officer Jimenez.

When Emily was previously asked what she thought about her experience performing on the “AGT” stage, she spoke about how she focused her thoughts on the corrections she and her teammates would receive. “So to really just think about all those so that we apply them is my biggest priority on stage,” added the late teen.
Emily Gold also mentioned that while she found it challenging to balance her time between “AGT” and attending high school, she somehow managed to make it work.
